There is no shortage of power or health within the engine

The driving report

During the last 2 years this car has had a considerable amount of work done. The gearbox has been rebuilt, an uprated clutch fitted, the engine checked in detail and the fuel injection serviced and rolling road set-up. A new radiator has also been fitted, as well as a brake overhaul. This was then topped-off by a superb respray, rechroming and a new mohair hood. Having been recorded on the rolling road as giving a reliable 198BHP at the wheels (not far from their real-world power when new), there is no shortage of power or health within the engine. The direct fuel injection works exactly as it should, hot or cold, and the synchromesh on the gearbox is bullet proof. It also looks fantastic, due to its factory fitted Rudge wheels. Although close reproductions are now made, the originals are unobtainable. Only 17 Roadsters left the factory with this option, which even then was very expensive. The tailored colour-coded leather luggage is still in very good condition, as is the original hardtop. The tool roll is present and complete, as are the original books. Right specification, right condition, right colour.
