Retromobile Paris 2014

We have just returned from this year's Retromobile classic car show in Paris. This is always a wonderful event and this year was better than ever, with a huge selection of beautiful cars prepared and displayed to the highest standards. Highlights for us were the Bonhams auction at the awe inspiring Grand Palais and the Artcurial auction at the Retromobile exhibition itself. 

Some of the cars auctioned, and pictured here, included a stunning 1953 Ferrari 166, a sleek 1969 Maserati Ghibli Spyder, an imposing (and very yellow) 1933 Delage D8 S Cabriolet and, perhaps our favourite of the day, a highly original 1969 Miura S.

If you have never been to Retromobile, mark it in your diaries for next year, it's a wonderful event and a great excuse to spend a few days in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
