1985 Arrows A8

This remarkably original car comes from the golden era of F1 when 1500cc turbo engines were reputed to produce up to 1500 bhp in qualifying trim. Chassis number 2 was driven by Berger and Boutsen in 1985 and Surer and Danner in 1986. It was then retired by the works, restored, fitted with a damaged engine and used as show car ever since. Despite this it is still fitted with its correct gearbox, suspension, brakes and instrumentation and remains in good condition

There is a demonstration event for turbo engined F1 cars from the 1980’s at Goodwood’s Members’ Meeting next March. The Arrows would be an ideal participant.
